North Chocolates

Set up in 2013 by Bev Stephenson in Newcastle upon Tyne, North specialises in seasonal, luxury chocolate bars from the classic to the unusual. All are vegetarian, 99% are gluten free and the majority of our dark bars and all of our Oat bars are dairy free and suitable for vegans.

They use only the the finest couverture – which means less of the bad stuff (that’ll be the sugar), absolutely no vegetable fats and simply more of the good stuff – ethically sourced cocoa and cocoa butter. They use 100% Sustainable Cocoa products, including single origin beans from Madagascar, Brazil and Colombia and support the CocoaHorizons Foundation - an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to sustainable cocoa with a core mission to improve the livelihoods of cocoa farmers and their communities.
